Crawly, Violet McLean “Mabel”, 89 of the Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow formerly of Munroe Street, Trenton, NS passed away January 19, 2024 in the manor. Born in West River Station, she was a daughter of the late George and Viola (Ashe) Luddington. She was a resident of the Glen Haven Manor in New Glasgow for the past few months having resided in Trenton for many years where she was a past member of the First United Church. She was a past employee of the Glen Haven Manor in New Glasgow where she worked as a Personal Care Worker for many years. She is survived by her daughters; Linda Myott, Westville; Gladys, at home; a son John (Kathleen), Hillside; daughter-in-law Shirley, Trenton; grandchildren; Kimberley, Samantha, Matthew, Bailey and Kristen, great-grandchildren; Khloe, Ryker, Parker, Liam, Logan, Cameron, Levi and Brooke, a sister Helen (Mike) Beaulieu, Ontario; a brother Francis (Phyllis)Creelman, Musquodoboit. She was predeceased by her husband Leo Crawly, a son Joseph, son-in-law Dennis Myott, brothers: George Spencer, Gerald R., Bill, Henry and a sister Betty . Cremation has taken place. A graveside committal service will be held at a later date in the Hillside Cemetery, Trenton. Donations in memory of Mabel may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Arthritis Society. angusfuneralhomes.com
