Ann Marie Adamson of Stellarton, NS passed away peacefully at the Aberdeen Hospital on November 22, 2023. Ann was born in New Glasgow in 1937 to parents Norman and Jessie (MacArthur) Chadwick.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie and her husband Laurie Chambers. She was a loving grandmother to their children Chad and Corey Chambers. She is also survived by her sister Norma McChesney, Stellarton and a brother David (Janice) Chadwick, Caribou River, sister-in-law Judy Chadwick, Moncton, NB, brother-in-law Curtis Adamson, niece Marie MacKay and nephews Duane and Todd Chadwick and JD and Kurt Chadwick.
She was predeceased by her husband Gerald Adamson, her parents Norman and Jessie, her brother Ron Chadwick, brother-in-law John McChesney and sister-in-law Judy Adamson.
Ann owned her own hairdressing shop in downtown New Glasgow for many years. After retirement she and her husband Gerry, enjoyed many long and wonderful trips together.
Ann struggled with many deteriorating health conditions for the last several months but handled them all with dignity and grace. We will miss her.
At Ann’s request there will be no visitation or funeral. A private graveside ceremony at Heatherdale Memorial Gardens will be held at a later date.
