Beverly Clarke Leigh, age 75, of Riverton passed away on October 31, 2023 in Valley View Villa. Born in New Glasgow she was a daughter of the late Harold Clarke and Pearl Jeanette (Fraser) Leigh.
Beverly had various jobs throughout Pictou County. She was a member of the former Zion Presbyterian Church in Eureka.
She is survived by her children David (Melissa) Pound, Prospect; Allison Pound, Halifax; a grandson Jasper Pound, Prospect; a sister Jeanette (George) Cameron, Riverton; brothers Walter (Eileen) Leigh, Vancouver Island; Billy Leigh, Halifax; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 11am Saturday November 4, 2023 in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home Chapel, New Glasgow with Rev. Charles McPherson presiding. Burial will be in the Riverton Cemetery. A reception will take place in the funeral home.
Donations in memory of Beverly may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Nova Scotia.
