Obituary of Greg Campbell

Campbell, Lloyd Gregory - June 11, 1965 - October 21, 2023 It is with heavy hearts that we, the family of Lloyd Gregory ‘Greg’ Campbell, announce his unexpected passing on Saturday, October 21st at his home in Bridgeville at 58 years old. Born in New Glasgow, Greg was the son of Marie and Lloyd Campbell. He is survived by the love of his life, Maggie; children Courtney, Kirsten, Dustin (Morgan), and Jake (Paige); and sister Sherri (Roy) Thompson. He was predeceased by his father, Lloyd. Also surviving are his many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Greg lived most of his life in Bridgeville, a place he was proud to call home. Greg worked for many years in auto body repair and had a true passion for anything with a motor. In his younger days, he enjoyed watching and competing in drag racing and visiting antique car shows. Some of his fondest memories were of restoring his ‘66 Chevy truck with his father and sons. Greg spent many days surrounded by buddies in the garage working on his latest project. He always looked forward to days when someone would stop by with a coffee and share a story and a laugh. Above all else, Greg loved spending quality time with his family and beloved ‘flat-face’ dogs. Visitation will be held at H. W. Angus Funeral Home on Friday, October 27th from 7-9 p.m. and from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday, October 28th with a service proceeding at 2 p.m. with Dr. Rev. Glen Matheson presiding. A burial will follow at the Bridgeville Cemetery. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the VON for their continued support.
