Westville Road : Ryan Patrick Chisholm age 24 passed away on October 2 ,2023 in Dartmouth. Born in Halifax he was the son of Kelly Shakness and Kevin Chisholm (Ramona).

Ryan was someone who could light up the room when he walked in. Ryan was an amazing soul, kind and caring. He loved his family and friends and could be found always helping others or being silly and smiley.

Ryan really enjoyed working on the boat with his best buddy Uncle Bob, cars and hanging out with “the boys”. Ryan will especially be missed by his girlfriend Samantha, and their time they spent exploring different restaurants, weekends at Ryan’s mom house, and just being together.

Ryan was an apprentice at Portland Street Honda working towards his red seal mechanic license. Ryan’s family would like to thank all his friends at Portland Street Honda for their care and support.

Surviving are his parents Kelly Shakness ,Kevin Chisholm (Ramona), his loving girlfriend Samantha Loughnane, paternal grandmother Rita Chisholm ,also many aunts ,uncles and cousins whom loved him dearly.

stepbrothers Alex ,Brandon and Dakota and stepsister Amber. Ryan was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Earl and Diana Shakness , uncles Greg Shakness and Leo Shakness and cousin Josh. paternal grandfather Alfred Chisholm .The family will receive visitors on Monday from 2-4 P.M. in the H.W.Angus Funeral Home ,New Glasgow . A public graveside service will follow in the Mount William Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating. Donations in memory of Ryan may be made to the S.P.C.A
