Beck, Sadie Audrey “Florence” (Daniels), passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023 at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.

Born on April 28, 1948 in Foley Mountain, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Cynthia Daniels.

Florence was loved by all the children, parents and anyone she met during her 19 years as a crosswalk guard and computer teacher’s aide at the Acadia Street School and library. She was very much loved and respected by all who came in contact with her.

Florence is survived by her husband Howard Beck; daughters, Sandra (Joey), Sonya, Lisa (Trevor) and Betty; grandchildren, Amanda(Glenn), Travis(Nicole), Cynthia, Leon(Christine), Tanya, Donnie(Christine), Bobby, Nicky(Corey), Samantha(Chris), Joey(Samantha), Natalie(Colin), Shauna(Stephen), David, Chad(Katie), Michael, Brandon(Emilee)Elisha, Kirk(Melanie); chosen children, Mary David, Joseph David, Michael Worthen, half-brothers; Clarence Allen, Aaron Allen, Andrew Allen; many brother and sisters-in-law; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son Leon Marshall; a brother Clarence Daniels, a sister Patricia Chow, a grandson Ryan Coady, great-granddaughter Sierra Marshall, a son-in-law Davis Johnston.

Her remains will rest in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow for visiting from 2-4 and 7-9pm Tuesday October 3, 2023. Cremation will follow. There will be no service at Flo’s wishes.

Burial will take place at a later date.
