In Loving Memory of Regina Elizabeth MacLeod June 27th, 1942 – September 13, 2023 With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life richly lived, we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother. Regina was born in Meteghan River to Catherine and Ulysse Deveau. She is predeceased by her brothers Leonard, Donald, Mel, Emile and sister Rosaline. As well as her infant son Cary Robert. She is survived by her husband Bob, daughter Susanne and son Dean. As well as daughter in law Nancy and grandchildren Claire and Ian. In her early years, Regina pursued her passion for working on various projects like refinishing furniture and even building the home she shared with Bob. Her creativity knew no bounds. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Regina held family close to her heart. Her love for her family was boundless and unconditional, a guiding light that brightened the path of her life. She cherished every moment spent with her beloved husband, and together they shared a love story that will be remembered for generations. August 24th, 2023 marked their 60th wedding anniversary. As a mother, Regina was a pillar of strength and support. She nurtured her children, with a deep love that knew no bounds. Her wisdom, kindness, and unwavering support shaped their lives in profound ways. Her bond with her grandchildren was a source of immense joy and pride. A lover of life's simple pleasures, Regina pursued her passions with enthusiasm. Whether it was boating on Beautiful Noise, snowmobiling, gardening, spending time with her cat Toy, or the countless picnics her and Bob enjoyed. Rest in peace, dear Regina. Your light will continue to shine in our hearts, reminding us to embrace life's beauty, spread happiness, and love deeply. You will be dearly missed and forever cherished. A celebration of Regina's life will be held on September 20th at 2pm at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Stellarton with reception to follow. Celebration of life will take place on September 19th from 2-4pm at Angus Funeral Home in New Glasgow. It should be noted that Regina has donated her remains to Dalhousie University for medical research. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Diabetes Canada. We know that Regina and Rosaline are now together and enjoying a glass of wine with love and laughter.
