Leonard Joseph Davidson age 74 of Riverton passed away on August 4, 2023 at the Riverview Home. Born in Halifax on July 11, 1949 he was a son of the late Roy and Mary (Pebbles) Davidson.
Leonard lived most of his life in Stellarton where he was a member of Sharon St. John United Church. Lenny loved letter writing and to stay in touch with friends and family by telephone. He had an obsession of collecting nice glass. When he was in good health he liked going for walks, visiting and talking with people.
He is survived by his sisters Diana (Chris) Mannion, Westville; Inez Murphy, Augusta, Maine; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents Leonard was predeceased by sisters Ruby Cioffi, Josephine MacKay, Agnes White, and Mary MacLean; brothers Reginald Davidson, Eugene Davidson, and Thomas Davidson.
The family will receive visitors from 1-3 P.M. on Friday August 25 in the H.C.MacQuarrie Funeral Chapel ,from where funeral service will be held at 3 P.M. with Rev. Jun-Hyok Chon officiating.
Burial will take place in the Brookside Cemetery, New Glasgow.
