Obituary of Alexander Kenneth MacGregor Jr

Alexander Kenneth MacGregor Jr, known to most as Sandy (59) of Meadowville Station, passed away suddenly at home on July 30, 2023.
Sandy was born on May 25, 1964, to parents Alexander & Matilda MacGregor in Halifax, Nova Scotia. After graduating from SAREC High School in 1981 he went on to study at Saint Francis Xavier University.
After graduation, Sandy moved to Stellarton where he met the love of his life Norma; they wed in 1988. They went on to have 2 children Isabel & Spencer & moved to Meadowville Station, where they raised their family together which included all their loving pets.
Sandy had a successful career in retail merchandising management for span of 30 years. He worked all over the Maritimes and enjoyed his time traveling He especially enjoyed meeting people new or old, and telling them his stories. Sandy enjoyed cranking the radio with a Medium Double Double always in hand.
Sandy was predeceased by his father Alexander Kenneth MacGregor SR, Grandmother Georgia Moore, Grandfather John MacGregor. He is survived by his loving wife Norma, children Isabel and Spencer (Kyllie), Mother Matilda, Great Aunt, Mary Hope (Alec), Sister Cheryl (Michael), Nieces and Nephews Andrew (Brittany), Evan, Adam (Meghan), Tammy (Hal), Jacqueline (Mark) Cousins Brandy (Tony) John-David Ronnie (Michelle). As well his loved dogs Burrows, Stella, Temperance.
The family will receive friends from 11am until 1pm on Saturday August 5th in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, 256 King St, New Glasgow NS. A private family service will follow.
All donations to his memory can be made to your local SPCA.
