Karen and I were best friends when we were teenagers, I used to do her hair for her. We would talk about the Beatles and who was our favourite. We would sing I Want to Hold Your Hand and neither of us could carry a tune in a bucket. Karen was such a lovely person! Karen will always be in my thoughts, Joanne Davies.

I'll miss visiting with my "country cousin" Karen. I've known her my whole life and while I'm sad she's gone, I am grateful to have spent time with her. Karen had such a fun sense of humor and was just such a nice and interested person. The world is a little better because she was in it.

My Deepest condolences to all Karen's family and friends.
I remember Karen when we used to walk the roads in Thorburn...Karen was always at Nippers garage , would always speak..Then through the years of going to Mary's at Halloween , Karen was always there asking who we were under those costumes..hehe Mary always new.. Last year I was visiting Murray and Karen she was so inquisitive...wanting to know what was going on in our lives . She was always so kind hearted and caring. Would always wanna talk when we met out and about...she is at peace with her loved ones...and we know Mary and Murray would have been waiting in heaven with loving open arms...may you rest in peace Karen...god bless you ...hugs to all ♥️♥️

Karen was a big part of my family growing up....my family moved next door to her family over 65 years ago. Karen was always kind to us. I taught Karen how to drive and took her to get her license in her old Rambler car, which she was so grateful for as she could drive Florence and Henny to town. Over the years often seen her pumping gas on the corner at the old Irving., at every remembrance day service, and many community event, never a time not to stop for a chat. And her stories...one if the best ones that she could hardly stop laughing to tell it was when she Murray and Mary were out for a drive and Murray decided to go threw the car wash...and he forgot to put the windows up. I will miss you Karen .
Love Seymore
Condolences to all of Karen's Family
Sincerely Seymore and Anne

I always remember about Karen over the years, that she was forever grateful for whatever someone gave her or complimented her. She had a cute little laugh and smile. Thorburn will miss Karen.....she is part of it's history from my many visits to good Ole Thorburn after we moved to California. I spent more summers in Thorburn and Greenwood growing up than I did in California.!!!
