Eileen Elizabeth Stewart age, 91 of Glen Haven Manor formerly of Thorburn and Blue Mountain passed away July 20, 2023 at the Glen Haven Manor. Born in New Glasgow she was a daughter of the late Willard and Alice (Murray) Fraser.
Before moving into Thorburn Eileen had been a resident of Blue Mountain all her married Life. She was a member of the Knox Presbyterian Church, Blue Mountain and a member of the Lawrence Stewart A.M.S.
She is survived by her daughters Myrna (Richard) Stewart, Halifax; Darla (Dan) Pliskow, London, Ontario; 2 grandchildren Leah (Cody) McDonald, London, Ontario; Jacob Pliskow (Denise Sayers), Ayr, Ontario; great-granddaughter Penelope McDonald, London, Ontario; fur-baby Gracie; several cousins; brother-in-law Morten Stewart, Canning; and sister-in-law Diane Wright, Riverton.
She was predeceased by her husband Raymond “Ray” Stewart.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, August 3, 2023 in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles McPherson officiating. A reception will follow in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Blue Mountain Cemetery.
