Obituary of Virginia Marie Whynott

Virginia Marie Whynott age 73, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 13, 2023. Born in New Glasgow she was the daughter of Frank and Sadie (MacDonald) Bray.
Virginia loved working at Ballantyne fuels before health complications made for an early retirement in 2010. In those years after, she enjoyed playing bingo, going for drives 'to get out of the house' and on the odd occasion spending a day at the casino.
Her husband, William, passed in 2020 and she was also predeceased by brother-in-law Butch Smith.
Survived by sisters Kaye, Port Perry; Lorraine MacEachern, Trenton and brother Frank (Mary) Bray, Abercrombie; her children Trevor (Leslie), daughter Nicole; and her beautiful granddaughter, Langley.
Special thanks to Mike Sullivan of Ballantyne Fuels and the people she worked with, Pictou County VON, the CNIB and all her close friends and neighbors.
There is no funeral service or visitation at Virginia’s request
