Obituary of Ellen Virginia MacDonald

Ellen MacDonald Obituary Ellen Virginia MacDonald (Titus) of Churchville, NS joined her Lord on June 6,2023 at the age of 70. She was predeceased by her beloved husband John of 51 years. She was also predeceased by her parents Hazel MacDonald (Titus) and Roy Titus. Ellen will be dearly missed by their three children; daughters, Lauri (son-in-law Chris) Mason and Tanya (Ian Kirk) Wilkinson, and her children Abbey and Evan and son-in-law Mark Wilkinson, and only son, Peter and his children, Alexander and Olivia MacDonald. Ellen is survived by her siblings; Brian (Eileen) Titus, Debbie (Allan) Carruthers, Michael Titus (Beth Boutilier) and Lenore (Jeff) Fraser, and cherished nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her wonderful stepfather Bill MacDonald, sister-in-law Diane White, BFF Sheila Dempster and her “Earthy Angels”. Ellen lived for her family with her love and devotion to them, friends and neighbors evident through her nickname “Happy Lady”- she was happiest feeding people! She considered herself a “Jill of all trades” - master of none but was willing to give it a try. We all appreciated her special talents more than she ever did! A heartfelt thank you to family and friends, as well as to the Pictou County VON and Palliative Care team who supported her children. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-4pm Saturday July 22, 2023 at the Springville Hall.
