Evelyn May Davidson, age 90 of Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow formerly of Stellarton passed away on May 28, 2023 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Stellarton she was a daughter of the late George William and Margaret (Smith) McGrath. Before moving to Glen Haven Manor Evelyn had been a resident of Stellarton and Trenton all of her life. She was an adherent of Christ Anglican Church, Stellarton. She had been employed during her working years at the former O.K. Bakery in Stellarton and the Woolworth Store in New Glasgow. She is survived by son William (Jen) Davidson, New Glasgow; daughter Deborah (Brian) Higgins, New Glasgow; grandson Bryan (Christine) Higgins, Calgary; great-grandchildren, Shelby, Shawn and Abigail. She was predeceased by her brothers Rufus, Reginald, Charles, George and Fred; sisters Hazel McKeigan and Doreen Sutherland. Visitation will be from 1-2 pm on Wednesday, May 31 in the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Chapel, Stellarton. From where funeral service will be held at 2 pm. Burial will be in the Christ Anglican Church Cemetery, Stellarton.
