Robson, John James, 85 of the Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow formerly of Thorburn passed away March 5, 2023 in the manor.
Born in Merigomish he was a son of the late Luther and Mary Belle(Boyd)Robson.
John was a resident of Thorburn for the past 49 years. He was a jack of all trades, having worked at various jobs throughout his working years. He enjoyed playing crib, fishing, gardening and his pets.
He is survived by his wife Margaret, Thorburn; a brother Anthony (Sharon), Hamilton; a sister Kay Robson, New Glasgow; niece Roseanne, New Glasgow; nephew Tony, New Glasgow; several other nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law; Doug Gerrior, Joe Gerrior and Leonard Gerrior, sisters-in-law; Ellen Clancy, Honey Wallace, Barb Feltmate, Marie George, Valerie Grant and Wendy Benoit; nephew Chris; nieces Patty and Sherry.
He was predeceased by four brothers.
His remains will rest at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow for visiting from 2-4pm Thursday.
Cremation to take place.
Burial of ashes will take place in the Egerton Cemetery at a later date.
