I am not a fisherman but I did have the pleasure of going on a fishing trip with David while we were in Florida. The catches were great and Dave was the one who did the filleting and we had a lovely fresh fish supper. In typical Dave fashion, he caught the largest fish of anyone on the boat!

Arlene and Family-
We were very saddened to learn of Dave's illness and passing. Dave started his career with the DOT here in the Amherst area and we became good friends as well as work buddies. Eventually transfers within the Department sent us in different directions, and we thus lost touch with each other. But I always enjoyed our times working together here in Cumberland County. Dave took his work seriously and always approached his job with dedication and sincerity. Please accept our deepest condolences at this time of great loss.

I was so saddened to read of David's passing today. We grew up in the same neighbourhood and spent many hours together playing baseball, road hockey, football, and the like. Our group, which had an age range of about 8 years, was tightly bound together in friendship and holds so very many great memories of David and Gordie, of Cliff and Marg, of Darlene and of Ann Elizabeth. A great family of wonderful neighbours and friends. My wife, Linda, and I send our deepest sympathies, our thoughts and prayers to David's family. May God bless you all at this most difficult time.
