My condolences and thoughts go out to Jeff's family, at this extremely sad time. Jeff wouldn't want us to be sad, instead, he would want us to celebrate his life, remember the good times he shared with us all, and to just be happy every day we possibly can.
Jeff was an amazing, kind, caring, and giving soul. He had a smile that could light up a room, and could cheer me up on even my darkest days. He spread happiness wherever he went, and was a constant reminder how to not take life so seriously, live in the moment and most of all, to just be happy. When I didn't want to face the day, and too exhausted with the world, to leave my bed, Jeff never questioned it, he would just come and be with me, until I was ready to face the days again. Whenever I needed someone, Jeff was just a phone call or message away, and regardless what darkness Jeff was fighting himself, he always came to help me battle my darkest days. It's rare to find a true, real, friend these days, like Jeff was to me, and so many others, he was just always there for me, through the highs and lows of life. My home was his home, some days I would come home to him asleep in my bed or on my couch, or go to bed alone and wake up with him snoozing beside me, a bowl of food was never just mine with Jeff around he always got half of whatever I was eating, bite for bite, and markers went without saying, that of course, they were both of ours. Jeff was like the big brother I never had, I will forever cherish the many, many, memories we have, and I'm so thankful that I was fortunate enough to have him as one of my best friends, and to have him in my life. I just wish our time together was longer spent, but only the good die young. He was loved by so many and will be missed so much, and in true words from Jeff, written to me in a letter he left for me to wake up to, that is now framed on my bed side table as a daily reminder:
"Cheer up! What's there not to be happy about?... Life is great!! If you think not... guess what? You're wrong. Smile xoxo"

I am so very sorry Jeff. A friend of my son's. Jeff was a great guy he helped my son alot of times, helped me when all I could do was cry. Jeff made me laugh every time I saw him, very charismatic.
As a mother of a 41 year old boy I have an idea of how your mom feels. Wouldn't wish this on anyone.

Dear Cyr Family.
My name is Shannon Mckinnon. I am deeply sorry for the loss of Jeff and offer my prayers and heartfelt condolences to the family.
Ive only known Jeff for about 2 years, but everytime I was around he could make me feel like I knew him a lifetime. I share some of those same demons, and you couldnt be more correct when you say no matter how dark his day was, he could always brighten your day. He would offer me encouragement, and promote my self worth and self esteem and also tune me if I was acting personally personally irresponsible or reckless.
I think my last interaction with Jeff was during a very embarrassing few minutes for me, I was taking some serious heat and embarrassment from some mutual peers and then Jeff stood in the middle of us all and offered me a very genuine fist bump followed by very encouraging words. I felt awesome.
I was never a selfish person, but now, I wish I could build a friendship over a lifetime.
I strongly feel that you thought of me as your friend and there is absolutely no doubt that I will ever forget how fortunate I was to have met you.
RIP my friend, try and chill a little bro, and when ever you can, look in on me from time to time, make sure I'm not tearing my life up too bad.

Adele and family,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the passing of Jeff.
The words of his obituary have captured the true essence of who Jeff was, a free spirit, always smiling and always ready for his next adventure. His passing has created a great loss for many people, and I'm sure you are proud to know that he touched so many lives, made so many people smile, and he always called me Mrs Alexander. LOL, the only person that ever did.
I will remember him fondly, and I will remember him often. Even when he lived in another country, there were times when I would get a text message from him looking to talk.
His light will continue to shine through happy memories and his beautiful daughters.
