Obituary of Mary Margaret Naugle
Please share a memory of Mary to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Naugle, Mary Margaret- We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of our dear mother and grandmother Mary Margaret Naugle, 87 of the Valley View Villa, Riverton on December 6, 2022 at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow with family by her side.
Born in Thorburn, she was a daughter of the late Henry Lawrence and Sarah (Jenny)MacEachern Boutilier.
Mom worked at the Aberdeen Hospital for many years. Mom was a social butterfly, she loved talking to old friends and loved making new friends. She could talk and tell stories for hours. She was quick witted and could put you in your spot in a minute. If she did not know the answer to something, she would make it her business to find out. She could be very stubborn when she wanted to be. She loved the county fairs, her many family gatherings throughout the years, as well as being near the water, travelling, camping, good food, walking and visiting her many friends.
Mom was predeceased by her husband Danny (Daniel)Naugle, Thorburn; her brothers; Johnny Boutilier, Thorburn; Lawrence Boutilier, Ontario; Billy Boutilier, Thorburn; sisters; Bernice Macdonald, Thorburn; Alice (age 3) and Anastasia in infancy, her beloved grandson Braxton Naugle (age 7).
She is survived by her son John (Jodi)Naugle, Stellarton; a brother Frank (Carol)Boutilier, Thorburn; and a sister Genevieve Whelan, Lunenburg; grandchildren; Chelsie, Jessica, Sean (Shelby), Dustin, Braydon and Bronzon, great-grandchildren; Ava, Jayden, Miley, Everette, Lincoln and Knox, sister-in-law Margie Boutilier, also sadly missed by her cousin and good friend Henry Macdonald.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial service at a later date.
Donations in memory of Mary may be made to the family.
