Dear Louise and Family
I am sad to hear of your loss. I adminred Bert for his strong character, practical business approach and his understanding of risk-taking in the exploration business. Bert and I communicated over the years at Inco both in Canada and overseas (Indonesia, PNG, Australia, Brazil, etc). You and Bert experienced overseas life - in PNG and all the challenges and the opportunities of living in other different cultures. I hope all those memories and those of your personal family life will give you comfort as you reflect on a life well lived.
