Barker, David Anthony, 84 of New Glasgow- It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to David (Tony)Barker who passed away November 29, 2022 in the Palliative Care Unit at the Aberdeen Hospital.

Born and raised in Chesterfield, England he was a son of the late Leonard and May (Bennett)Barker.

He is survived by his wife Beverly Barker, his daughters; Donna King (David), Joanne Avery (Kenneth) and Michelle (Brian) Works, six-grandchildren, Andrew and Raeanne King, Mitchell and Michaela Avery, Brendon and Kristofer Works, three great-grandchildren, Jackson and Layla Avery and Sawyer Wilson, step-daughter, Angela Power (Scott), step-grandson, Cameron.

He was predeceased by his first wife Irene (Gladwin)Barker and a brother Brian.

Tony lived a full, adventurous life, travelling the world before settling in Canada. He loved fishing, watching the Blue Jays as well as football(soccer) and spending time with his family. He will be sadly missed and will always hold a special place in our hearts. We express our gratitude to the staff of the Aberdeen Hospital for taking care of Tony in his final days.

Cremation has taken place. No services by request.
