Barbara (Barb) Jane Carpenter (MacDonald)- 77 Stellarton passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 22 at Glen Haven Manor. Born October 12, 1945 in New Glasgow, She was the daughter of the late Fredrick J. and Alverda B. (MacDougall) MacDonald. (Glencoe, Pictou County) Barb is survived by her loving children Robyn (Dave) Schebek, Lake Louise, AB and Roger (Sandi) MacLeod, Stellarton; adored grandchildren Kai Schebek, Lizzie MacLeod; dear Sister Nancy C. MacDonald, Guelph Ontario/Glencoe Pictou County and cousins, nephews and a niece. She was predeceased by her parents Fred and Verda MacDonald, Sister Beverley B Lawrence and loving grandson Brandon W G Macleod. Barb loved her visits to Tim Hortons, Attending Karaoke and dances at the Stellarton legion, watching hockey and most of all spending time with her family. The family would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Glen Haven Manor for making her short time there as comfortable as possible, VON and to Dr. MacCara for giving the help when needed (Thank You). Cremation to take place with HC MacQuarrie in Stellarton. A private ceremony will take place for family on Sunday November 27, 2022 and a celebration of life will take place at a later date for all who knew and loved her.
