Francis, Ronald Charles, 78 of Montreal formerly of Pictou Landing First Nation passed away August 22, 2022 in Montreal.
Born in New Glasgow he was a son of the late James and Mary Jane (Toney) Francis.
He is survived by a brother Ralph (Lorraine), sisters; Mary Ellen Denny and Jackie Alex, all of Pictou Landing First Nation.
He was predeceased by brothers; Joseph Francis, James Francis, Michael Francis, Robert Francis, Peter Gary Francis, sisters; Teresa Francis, Mary Francis, Anna Francis and Roberta Anne Francis.
Cremation has taken place.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am Monday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, Pictou Landing First Nation with Father Tom Stephan presiding.
Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
