James Melvin Willis – Nictaux
James Melvin Willis age 82, of Nictaux, NS formerly of New Town, Guysbourgh County, passed away on August 10, 2022 at home after a long illness. Mel a son of the late James and Hilda (Marshall) Willis.
Mel is survived by his wife Diane (Dunlop) Willis, Nictaux; daughters Kim and Denise, Nictaux; son Trevor (Nadine), Kingston; grandchildren Caitlyn, Davien, and Lucian; brother John (Ruth) Willis, MacPherson’s Mills.
Mel was a member of Ionic Masonic Lodge No. 73 Middleton. He worked for the Department of Highways for 34 years.
Cremation has taken place, a graveside service for family was held on August 17, 2022 in the Valley View Cemetery, East River St. Mary’s. Arrangements are under the care of the Middleton Funeral Home and H.W. Angus Funeral Home. Donations in memory of Mel may be made to Valley View Cemetery East River St. Mary's.
