I grew up next to Grant and his family on Mclellan`s Brook Rd.When I was a young lad Grant was passing by and I was sitting on the front step and I shouted out " Where are you going Grant" He said he was going into McCarrons Restaurent and would I like to come along. I had to ask my Mom,who knew Grant, so off we went. I thought I was on a great adventure,which I was. He bought me a milkshake and introduced me to everyone,quite a few young ladies and it never occured to me until much later that perhaps I had helped him with that. Reading about him this morning brought back that great memory. He came to the house when my Mom passed and was just as kind with his words. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family and a fond farewell
