Anthony “Tony” James Murray age 55 of Lorne Street, New Glasgow passed away peacefully on July 31st, 2022. Born in Trenton, he was a son of Phyllis and the late Floyd Murray.
Tony worked in the telecommunications industry in the United States before returning to Nova Scotia to work at Northern Pulp. His love for guitar playing and singing will be forever missed by his friends and family.
He is survived by his mother Phyllis Murray; brother Blaine (Melinda), Westville; and niece and nephew Reese and Ben.
Cremation has taken place. A service and reception will take place at the Cristian Fellowship Church, New Glasgow at 2:00 on Saturday August 6th followed by a burial at the Heatherdale Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Jeff MacDougall officiating. Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of the H. W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
