Christa Bonvie, age 83 of New Glasgow, passed away June 27, 2022 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Bochum, Germany on Jan. 18, 1939 she was a daughter of Herta Noelle.
Christa immigrated to Canada in 1963. She was a former employee of Tim Hortons. She loved to watch skating and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Family was the most important part of her life and she enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren, Tommy Worthen (Caroline Fiefield), Nadine (Alex) Crosby, Amanda Worthen (Anthony Hubley), Tiffany, Krystal, Lucas, Zack and great-grandchildren Kayleigh, Brooke, Aiden, Gregory.
She is survived by her daughter Martina Worthen, New Glasgow; sons Clint and Luke; a sister Doris.
Besides her mother she was predeceased by a son Tommy in infancy and her grandmother.
The family will receive friends from 11 am - 1 pm on Saturday, July 2 in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home New Glasgow.
