MacGillivray, Henry John Townsend- It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Henry John Townsend MacGillivray, 71 of New Glasgow on March 7, 2022 at home.
Born in New Glasgow he was a son of the late John Daniel and Mary (MacLellan)MacGillivray.
Henry was an electrician who worked locally and in Western Canada and the United States. He was a member of the IBEW.
Henry is survived by sisters and brothers, Marie (Roger)Sharpe, Lynn, Mass; Rollie (Barb), Valley, NS; Frank (Andrea), Stellarton; Rose MacGillivray, New Glasgow; Judy (Jimmy)Allard, St. Albert, Alberta; Anne(Stan)Lukye, Beaumont, Alberta; Joey(Eileen), Stellarton; many nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Angus and Buddy, a sister Christena.
Cremation has taken place. Burial of ashes at a later date in the Holy Cross Cemetery, New Glasgow.
