MacDonald, Melissa Jane, 38 of Stellarton passed away Sunday February 27, 2022 in the QEII Halifax.
Born in New Glasgow she was a daughter of Ronald D. MacDonald and Karen R. MacAulay.
Melissa enjoyed being with her children, her family and friends.
Surviving are her 3 children Robert MacDonald, Dylan MacDonald and Lissa Lochead, her father Ronald(Norma) and mother Karen(Norm), sisters, Stacy MacDonald, Stephanie MacDonald, step-brother Brandon MacDonald(Jordan), maternal grandmother, Paulette MacAulay and paternal grandmother Vera Cunningham(Maurice), 7 nephews, Zachery, Cole, Blake, Dustin, Nicholas, Ayden and Liam, 3 nieces, Madison, Britney and Lena, numerous aunts and uncles.
She was predeceased by her common-law husband Robert Lochead, maternal grandfather Donald M. MacAulay and paternal grandfather John E. MacDonald.
Cremation has taken place. A private family visitation will take place at a later date at the H.W. Angus Funeral home, New Glasgow.
Burial will take place in the Priestville Cemetery at a later date to be announced. Everyone is welcome to attend.
