Obituary of James Edward Rector

James Edward Rector age 71, of Pine Tree passed away on February 2, 2022 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow he was a son of the late Alex and Mary Rector.
Jimmy was a resident of Pine Tree most of his life. He started working in the coalmines and later went to work at Trenton Works and delivering firewood for many years.
He is survived by his wife Mildred (Silver), son Edward (Tammy Titus); grandchildren Mitchell, Steven, Belinda, and Crystal; great-grandchildren Chase, Tyler, Madeline and Blaire;step grandchildren Kaylee and Madeline Wagner , brother John (Diane) Rector; sisters Florence MacAulay, Laura Fraser and Barb (Bob) Beaton.
He was predeceased by his daughter Glenda; brothers Hibbert, King and Angus; sister Mary Brewer.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made to the Pictou County SPCA.
