Cindy and family, I am very sorry for your loss. Phillip & I enjoyed the banter which comes from working together. I would annoy him by using the phrase "Same thing, only different" and he knew why I was called "Johnny Rotten". That banter continued during the company golf tournaments as he rubbed it in when he found my "Happy Face" balls in the woods. He will be missed.

Oafie was such a loving and caring soul. It is so hard to say goodbye to the ones we love. We all wish for one more day to tell them how much they are loved. Take strength in the knowledge that Oafie knew how much he was loved by his friends and family. You can see it in the pictures when he is holding his grandchildren, how proud he was of Lindsay and Shawn, and in his stories of you all. Cindy you always kept him laughing with the antics you would get up to and he would just shake his head and smile. Those we love are never truly gone because they leave behind the beautiful memories that you created together. May these memories now bring some comfort to you all at this difficult time. Our deepest condolences, Julie and Blair Long.

Hold on to the fact that he is at peace and he was loved from the day he was born and all days in between. We have only known Oafie and Cindy since Nathan and Lindsay fell in love and yet we consider them cherished friends. Lots of laughs and a shared love of Cameron and Maya only secured that bond. We will miss seeing him and sharing a beer and a laugh together on our next trip east. You fought a courageous battle against that horrible disease and gave it everything you had. A life is all about what you do between birth and death and he lived an amazing life! Cheers to you Oafie! Love and hugs to Cindy, Lindsay and Nathan, Shawn and Emily.
