I was very saddened to read the obituary for Burns. He was a very talented person and brought joy to so many people with his music. He accompanied me for many years as we made the rounds of concerts in Pictou County and beyond, and I have many wonderful memories from that time. My thought and prayers are with you.

Was saddened to learn of Burns passing . Enjoyed meeting him when he visited Ross and Nancy while they lived in Upper Musquodoboit. Ross I am sure you will remember the across the road neighbour from the manse ! My Sincere Condolences to All of the Family- Although I may not have met Burns' children, Burns was a delight to know & a great fellow with a few stories to share! Knowing Earle & Marie & their children with various trips & 'events' either around River Denys, or at the 'cabin,' often Burns would be part of the entourage & many good times & laughs were enjoyed by all ! I am sure there will be one very Grand Piano for Burns to continue to dazzle listeners & dancers alike beyond the Pearly Gates.
