Alan Brent Jollota
Jan. 20, 1954 – Nov. 18, 2021
Alan Brent Jollota passed away at home with his companion by his side after a long battle with cancer.
Alan lived in St. Catherine’s, Ontario for over forty years. In his younger years he lived on Munroe Ave. in New Glasgow; fondly known by his friends as “Mex”.
Nova Scotia was always called home which was evident every year during fishing season, returning to Ontario with many a trout.
Alan always stayed close to family and friends through visits and many weekly phone calls. His lifelong hockey team was the “Toronto Maple Leafs”.
He is survived by his companion of 33 years Rhonda Zilkie and brother Brad Jollota in London, Ontario and many nieces and nephews. He is survived locally by nieces Cindy Jollotta Skinner, Helen Jollota Odo, Angela Jollota.
Alan was predeceased by his parents Raymond and Margaret Jollotta; brothers Johnny and Wayne Jollotta; niece Jonette M. Jollotta Linthorne and nephew John Wayne Jollotta.
Alan will be remembered as a kind and gentle person; he will always be loved and missed.
A private burial will take place in the spring of 2022, in Lorne St. Cemetery, New Glasgow under the direction of the H.W. Angus Funeral Home.
