I just found out about Sandy's passing. My condolences to the Sandy's family.
I remembered working with Sandy when I was working at the pulp mill from 2010 to 2012. We had lots of interesting discussions about pulp bleaching and cars (of course). He was like a sponge when we were talking and absorb lot of bleaching information from me and applied ideas to to get better bleaching at the pulp mill.
After I left the pulp mill in 2012 and moved back to Ontario, I used to see and talk to Sandy, any time I saw him when I was down to Pictou each year during the summer. The last time I saw and talked to Sandy was at the car show in Westville in 2019. He was always interesting to talk to about his various car projects.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Sandy...the Rhynos and MacLeans. Our parents were good friends and avid campers, so growing up and being roughly the same age, we created some great memories. It's with a heavy heart I remember having the pleasure of attending Janice and Sandy's wedding and knowing they were meant to be and were a great support for each other. I remember Sandy in High School as a kind, quiet, handsome young man. Just an "all around nice guy". Since I moved away after High School, I wasn't fortunate enough to have known him as an adult but have heard many people speak very highly of him on every level.

Dear Diane. I am sorry to read this about your son Sandys passing. I know what you are going thru. Jims son Mark burned to death in a fire a few weeks ago and we just buried him 2 weeks ago. He was 56. It has been a rough time for us but we have lots of friends and support. It is so sad to have to bury a child and I want you to know Jim and I will keep you and your family in our prayers throughout the coming weeks ahead.
