Mary Elizabeth Holwell _ New Glasgow
Mary Elizabeth Holwell age, 73 of Glen Haven Manor formerly of New Glasgow and passed away on October 1, 2021 in the Glen haven manor. Born in St. John’s newfoundland she was a daughter of the late Harold and Bridgette Anne (Goss) Holwell.
Mary had moved to New Glasgow area in 1986 from Newfoundland. She has worked numerous jobs from a meat cutter, dorm caretaker, and dry cleaner. Mary’s pride and joy were her 2 grandchildren Kristin and Ryan. Mary had a heart of gold and would give you anything or do anything for you in a time of need.
She is survived locally by her son Darrell Holwell, New Glasgow and her 2 grandchildren Kristin and Ryan.
She is also survived by sister Janet, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family in Newfoundland.
Cremation has taken place. A service will be held in St. John’s Newfoundland at a later date with burial in Mount Carmel Cemetery, St. John’s.
