Farrell, Leo Joseph- With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Leo Joseph Farrell, 70 of Plymouth on Monday September 20, 2021 at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Antigonish on September 16, 1951, Leo was a son of the late Dan and Eunice(MacIsaac)Farrell.
Leo was predeceased by an infant sister Jeanette.
Leo is survived by his wife of 43 years Linda(Long), Son Mike(Amanda), step-daughter Jacqueline, grandchildren; Mikayla and Peyton whom he adored, brothers; Seward(Mary Kay), John D.(Myretta), a sister Marie(Joan) and life long friend Jerry MacLaren.
At Leo’s request cremation has taken place. No visitation or services will be held.
Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Palliative Care Society of the Aberdeen Hospital.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the VON and Palliative Care for their care and support during this time.
