In Loving Memory - Judy Lynn Murphy It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Judy was lovingly surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully in New Glasgow, NS on September 7th, 2021. Judy spent most of her career with Sobeys. Judy not only made a lasting impact with those she worked with professionally but also with everyone she got to know personally. Judy was a passionate and enthusiastic supporter of her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events throughout the years. You would often find Judy in a rink or at a baseball field, but more often you would hear her! Judy loved surrounding herself with friends and family and will be dearly missed at our family Christmas Celebrations, annual Boxing Days parties and all other gatherings, Judy is survived by her beloved husband Pat, sons Shane Murphy (Ingrid), Kevin Murphy, daughter Kim MacDonald (Joe), grandchildren; Haleigh Banton, Cole Murphy, Madison Cole, Chase Murphy, Julia Murphy, sisters; Gloria Upham and Gail MacMillian(Cheryl Ewing). She was predeceased by her parents; Bill and Reta MacMillian and brother Billy MacMillian. Cremation has taken place. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a memorial service for invited family and friends only will be held on Friday September 10, 2021 at 2pm from the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow with Rev. Charles MacPherson presiding. The service will be live streamed via the Angus Funeral Home facebook page. A link will be provided the day of the service. The family would like to thank Dr. Bashar Jazrawi, the Aberdeen medical teams, Phyllis MacDonald and Dan and Shirley Mackay for all of their support over the last few months.
