Obituary of Raymond Allan Lucas

Raymond Allan Lucas: It is with great sadness to announce that Raymond Lucas, born October 4, 1958 a son of Kimball Lucas and the late Jean Lucas. Raymond passed away in the early morning of July 31st after a long hard battle with cancer. He is survived by his 3 children, Nick Lucas(Leah Rhyno), Jayme Bailey and Mark Paschal, his grandchildren, Lila-ray, Charlotte, Allie, Briella, Soul & Meadow, his sisters, Bernadette Lucas-Enger(Bernard Enger), Deborah Lucas-Mackay (Wayne Mackay), Rhoda Lucas-Wheaton (Dan Wheaton) , Terry Lucas- Redmond(Jim Redmond), his brothers; Gary Lucas , Brian Lucas, Kevin Lucas (Annette Delaney-Lucas), Paul Lucas(Lauren Mingo-Lucas),Craig Lucas . He was predeceased by his mother Jean Lucas & brother Kimmy Joe Lucas. Raymond was one of the most hard working, brave, kind, fun loving people. If you had the pleasure of knowing Raymond, you knew that he was always cracking jokes and telling tall tales. He loved his animals and especially his beloved Smokey J, who many of you have seen driving around in the truck with his sun glasses on. He loved anything to do with being outdoors(fishing, hunting, mudding, four wheeling) and loved a good party. His last wishes were to be at home surrounded by his family and friends for end of life, which we made possible with all of the help from our community. We can’t thank you enough. Cremation has taken place. We are inviting all to Raymond’s home, 43 Springville Road, Springville on Wednesday August 4th at 3 pm for a Celebration of Life, as per his wishes. angusfuneralhomes.com
