My sincere condolences to the MacKinnon family. I knew and liked both Bobby and Jimmy, and it saddens me that they are no longer with us.
When our high school graduating class was waiting in the corridor to the gymnasium for the rehearsal of the graduation walk-in, Bobby came up to me and told me that I had won an award, and that he thought I deserved to win. I have forgotten what the award was about, but I have never forgotten Bobby’s kind words. I was sorry he wasn’t able to make it to the 50th reunion in 2014, but I remember Cheryl MacKean reading us his written regrets.
