I was saddened to read of J. Grant’s passing in the UNB Alumni News. “J” and I were good friends during our time at UNB. We were roommates in Fall 1975 and later shared an apartment. Very fond memories of a road trip (in Mr. Fraser’s car) down to Virginia (through Philadelphia). We got to know each other’s families. Over the years, we drifted apart - I regret that. Mrs. Fraser, Charlotte and Margaret, please receive my heartfelt condolences. He was a kind a gentle person. And what a voice he had - silenced much too soon.
