Obituary of Robert Sterling Lowry

Robert Sterling Lowry, eldest son of the late Robert and Mary (Howlett) Lowery and recent resident of Ivey’s Terrace Nursing Home, passed away on July 3rd – just a handful of days shy of his 77th birthday. Further predeceased by his beloved sister, Marie and survived by his youngest sibling, John, who sacrificially and honorably exemplified the role as thy brother’s keeper, as well as special cousins, Tina MacCrae of Halifax; Marie and Clarence Landry, along with their daughter, Claudette of Louisdale, whose kindness and compassion collectively knew no limits. Though life’s path was pitted with adversity, Robert’s indomitable spirit never faltered nor did his indeterminate will surrender. Built firmly upon the principles of honesty and integrity, his was a personality of strength, an unwavering loyalty to family and a celebrated work ethic driven by commitment and unparalleled dedication.
