BEZANSON, Helen Jeanette, RN (1926-2021)
Jeanette Bezanson of New Glasgow, NS passed away peacefully in Palliative Care, Aberdeen Hospital on Monday June 28th, 2021.
She was the daughter of the late Robert (Bob) and Eunice (nee Mason) MacWilliam.
Jeanette was a loving wife, mother, and friend to all. She trained at the St. John General Hospital, NB. She was an excellent nurse and very well respected. In later years she did private nursing. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, spending time in Florida and was always willing to be the nurse for the neighbourhood kids.
Jeanette is survived by her sons, Robert (Bob) and William (Bill) & Hazel Bezanson;
Grandchildren – Christian, Olivia, Taylor and Lezah; brother Hugh (Phyllis) MacWilliam, Burlington, Vermont, sister Jean (Ronald) MacKenzie, Glengarry, sister-in-law, Jessie MacWilliam, Stellarton and many nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by her parents; husband, Bernard (Bernie) Bezanson; brother William (Bill) MacWilliam; sisters, Elizabeth (Betty) (Richard) Parker and Mary Riley.
Per Moms wishes there will be no visitation or service. The Family will have a private burial at a later date. Donations in her memory made be made to the Aberdeen Hospital Foundation (835 East River Rd., New Glasgow, NS B2H 3S6 or online).
