Obituary of Allan Keith Fulton

Stellarton: Fulton, Allan Keith, age 87, of Stellarton. Dad passed peacefully June 17,2021 in the Glen Haven Manor,New Glasgow,N.S. Dad will be greatly missed by his family. Born in New Glasgow on August 25, 1933, he was a son of the late Keith and Isabelle(Henderson) Fulton. Dad was involved with his father’s family grocery business “Fulton’s Grocery” until 1966 when he decided to become a Commercial Traveler. Dad travelled many miles between Nova Scotia and Newfoundland for various companies and always enjoyed the sociability of all his clients. Dad also enjoyed his weekends fishing or hunting out in Trafalgar, Big Liscomb or the Bonnett Country with friends and later with his children. Dad always enjoyed being at a camp and loved his trips to Doug Ince’s and Wayne Pembleton’s camps. Dad was a Mason with Keith Masonic Lodge #23 from November 6th, 1961 to present day and received and was presented last week with his 60 year bar from his son David. Dad in his 87th year was the loving husband of wife Connie whom he was married to for 62 years. Dad was a cherished father to his three children; daughter, Lorrie(Gregor)Sample, Stellarton; son’s, Gordon (Kimberley), Linacy; David (Lori), Scotchill and Grampie to Bryce and Paige, Scotchill. He is survived by his only sister Claire Ballantyne, Toronto, ON and his only nephew Ian Ballantyne, Toronto, ON. Allan was predeceased by his wife Connie (May22,2020).
The family would like to thank the staff of Glen Haven Manor Nursing Home “River Glen” for all their wonderful care given to both Mom and Dad over the last few years. We also send a thank you to the Doctor’s of the Westville Medical Clinic and the staff of the H.W. Angus Funeral Home for all their help and support.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, Dad’s life will be honoured at a private family funeral and graveside service Monday, June 21, 2021 at 2 P.M. from the H.W. Angus Funeral Home with Rev. Charles McPherson officiating. Burial will be in the Telford Cemetery.
