I was deeply saddened to hear of Baxter's passing. I knew Baxter when we both worked for North Shore Drug Dependency. He was such a sweet man, with a wonderful engaging personality and a great sense of humour. I know that he made a huge difference in many lives, and his beautiful obituary shows that he has indeed left this world a much better place than it was before he enriched it. Baxter was always humble, and very likely might be surprised that he was so admired and loved. My deepest sympathy to all of Baxter's family and friends. May he rest in eternal peace.

We , as brothers and sisters spent many an hour after dinner with our father , Jack Fraser , spellbound as he recounted many a fascinating tale and wonderful boyhood stories of adventures that he, his brother Arnie and Baxter and George had throughout their childhood. We always had many questions for him and his laugh was contagious in itself as he would recall the fun and often humorous misadventures they shared as boys growing up in the 1930’s/40’s.
My deepest condolences to Kenda and the entire Steeve’s family.

I am sorry for your great loss Dorothy, John, Dave, Kenda and families. Baxter was such a kind man who made an impact on many lives ...when I first started working in addictions as a young girl I learned very quickly why he was so admired and respected by recovering persons. He was truly genuine and he cared about everyone. May you all find comfort in knowing that he is at peace and his suffering has ended. Alexka Mason and family

I am so sorry to hear of Baxter’s passing. As a young teenager in the early 1960’s and my first job I worked at Sobey’s Westside store as a cashier and Baxter was the store manager at that time. He was a great manager and friend and will be missed by all.
