Obituary of Duncan Joseph Chisholm

Duncan Joseph “Dick” Chisholm: New Glasgow Duncan Joseph “Dick" Chisholm, born November 1, 1939 at St. Martha’s Hospital, Antigonish to parents Faustina and James Chisholm, passed away May 22nd, 2021. Dick was a North Ender and was proud to have grown up there. He worked with the Kingston Public Utilities for a number of years. Upon returning to Nova Scotia, he was in the car business as a sales manager at Citadel Motors, Halifax. He then went to Auction School, worked at the car auctions and he and his wife did numerous auctions in Nova Scotia. Dick was a member of A.A. and helped may folks over the years to get sobriety. Dick married the “love of his life” Sheila Brown in 1984. He is survived by his wife Sheila and his daughter Yvonne Carrigan, grandson Andrew; and his 2 cocker spaniels. Also surviving are his nieces Mary Johnston and Carol Ann Lamond, favorite cousins the Druhans and the Graces in Antigonish. He was predeceased by a son-in-law Bob Carrigan.
