Obituary of lloyd Leslie Laing

Laing, Lloyd Leslie, of Riverton, NS passed away May 6, 2021 at the Valley View Villa, Riverton. Born in Sherbrooke on September 21, 1934, he was the eldest son of the late Jack and Edith(Cook)Laing, having been raised by his grandmother Bertha Cook. He was owner/operator of Lloyd Laing trucking for over 35 years. He is survived by his beloved sons, Dean(Susan) Ft. McMurray; David(Sandra) Riverton; several grandchildren; sisters Lorna Hiltz, Port Bickerton; Lorraine Pottie, Grand Lake; sister-in-law Ola Laing, Sherbrooke. He was predeceased by his wife Teresa(Hiltz), brother Jackie Laing, sister Lillian Carrol, brothers-in-law Bobby Carroll, Gerry Pottie and Billy Hiltz. Cremation has taken place. No services by request of the family. Burial of ashes will take place at a later date in Port Bickerton.
