I have very fond memories of Penny at the cookhouse at Hugh Erskine’s mill in Big Brook.
On evening I caught a bunch of fish . Penny said she would cook them for breakfast as long as I cleaned them. It was a feast for the whole crew. She was an excellent cook and a wonderful lady.
