March 31, 2021 Demone, Enid Winnifred, 102 of the Shiretown Nursing Home, Pictou formerly of Haven Brook Manor, Riverton and MacLellan’s Brook passed away March 29, 2021 in the Shiretown Nursing Home, Pictou. Born in Halifax she was a daughter of the Late Clifford I. and Winnifred(Nickerson)Mumford. Enid was a resident of the Shiretown Nursing Home for the past 6 years having previously resided in the Haven Brook Manor, Riverton and Maclellan’s Brook. She was a member of the Sharon St. John United Church, Stellarton as well as being involved in the UCW. She was an avid quilter, reader and knitter, as well as always enjoying her shot of baileys. She is survived by her daughter Barbara(Reginald)Foote, New Glasgow; a granddaughter Erin Lyn Foote- Hamilton(Robert), Ipswich, UK; a great-grandson Max Hamilton, Ipswich, UK; a great-granddaughter Pippa Hamilton, Ipswich, UK. She was predeceased by her first husband Alfred Crawley, second husband Robert Demone, brothers; Gordon and Austin. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service for family and invited quests will be held 11am Saturday at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow with Rev. Karen Ross presiding. Masks and Social Distancing required. Burial of ashes will take place in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens at a later date. Donations in memory of Enid may be made to the Sharon St. John United Church, Stellarton or to a charity of one’s choice. angusfuneralhomes.com
