Obituary of Teresa Reynelda Baird

White Hill ,Pictou County It is with heavy hearts the family of Teresa Reynelda Baird announce her sudden passing on Feb16 ,2021 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow she was a daughter of the late James and Phyllis (Coady) Walton. Teresa was a longtime resident of White Hill. She was a retired employee with Michelin Tire with over 30 years service. Music was great part of Teresa’s life , she was a member and singer with the band “Brandy” and had played around the province and locally for many years. The other thing she treasured in life was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Teresa volunteered with CARMA and a had a special place in her heart for all animals. Surviving are her daughters Mary Anne (Cihan)Baird of Truro, April (Matt) Weir of Little Harbour , grandchildren Kenzie , Brooke and Keelan. A sister Beatrice (Brian) Richford of Moncton, a brother James (Mary) Walton of Six Mile Brook, also a number of nieces and nephews .Teresa was predeceased by her parents and a brother Kenny Walton. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of the Aberdeen Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Teresa while she was there. Donations in memory of Teresa may be made to the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care or CARMA.
