Hafey, Johanna Amanda- It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our sweet , dear mother, Johanna Amanda Hafey who had a heart of gold on February, 9, 2021 at the age of 103 in the Valley View Villa, Riverton. Born in Guysborough, NS she was a daughter of the late Stephen Robert and Alice(Flavin)Fitt. She was loved dearly by her family and many friends, and in turn loved her family dearly, always making a point of knowing where everyone were at all times. Anyone who stopped at her home did not leave without tea and lunch. Mom did not work much outside the home, but she loved her bingo. Johanna was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by sons; Ernie(Donalda), Lawrence(Barb), Art(Cathy), daughter Alma(Wally Ross), grandchildren: Kim(Tom)Snelgrove, Darrin(Susan Rogers), Angela(Rob)A’Court, Natasha Hafey(Jen), Alisha Hafey, Jimmy Hafey, Cathy Richard(Shawn), great-grandchildren: Zachary Rogers, Jasmyne Rogers, Ali Rogers, Liam A’Court, Greg Snelgrove, Jenna Snelgrove, Brandon Richard and Nicholas Richard, great-great grandchildren: Cooper Snelgrove and 2 arriving in April, a boy and a girl. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who were just like her own children. She was either a mom, nana or friend to them all, loving them all and we know they loved her as much. She was predeceased by her husband James Alfred, a son Charlie, granddaughter Nicole Lee, brothers: Sylvester, Ned, Steven, Parker, sisters: Annie and Mary. We know she is with her family and friends in Heaven. They are all in a circle with Charlie and Joe playing and Momma is singing all her favorite songs. We will miss you mom. Be happy with all your family. We the family would like to thank all the angels at the Valley View Villa in Riverton who took such great care of mom during her stay at the villa. We will be grateful forever. She will be asking for her four slices of toast and tea at 7:30-8 o'clock and singing with the heavenly angels and choir. Her remains will rest at the H.W.
