Helen “Joyce” Boudreau - age 83, of Quinner Crt., Westville, passed away on January 29, 2021 in the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Unit. Born in Port Dufferin she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Gladys (Rogers) Barkhouse.
Joyce was devoted to her husband Sam. She loved to collect antiques and was always there to help anyone in need.
She is survived by her husband Sam; children Kevin (Karen) Boudreau, Frank (Paula) Boudreau, Karen (Bruce) Morgan, and David (Angela) Boudreau; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; brother Teddy (Helen) Barkhouse; sisters Doreen Stewart, Jean Behie, Catherine Smiley and a very close friend Joyce MacDonald.
She was predeceased by a brother Ken Barkhouse.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service by request.
The family would like to extend a very special thank-you to all the doctors, nurses and staff of the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their exceptional care.
